Own the Flame Wrath Family and all three ordinary member Spells. Advanced Spells do not contribute to this requirement.

Every third qualifying hit on one enemy erupts for 35% of the triggering damage in a radius that grows from 140 to 180.
Mastery
With Ashbound Warden selected, 10 further ordinary Family Spell upgrades after Conflagration activates awaken Ashen Bulwark. After 12 seconds of active combat, a shield blocks one hit for up to 3 seconds. A blocked hit releases a fire burst; an unused shield fades without a burst. Its next 12-second cycle starts when the shield resolves.

Rite connection
Once active, this Synergy satisfies the Family side of Cinder Brand. All three Family member Spells must carry live Altar Seals, and the build must not already contain an Advanced Spell.
