How collections work

The in-game Library’s Encyclopedia tracks four Family collections. Each card has four requirements: one for each member Spell and one for the Family’s completed Rite.

A member Spell counts when its Encyclopedia discovery is recorded. The Character’s signature Spell starts the run; the other two member Spells appear during the run. Select an ordinary Spell offer when the member Spell is available. Casting it, levelling it, or claiming a separate reward is not a separate collection step.

Open the Family’s Rite and choose an eligible Advanced Spell to finish it. Merely opening the Rite is not enough for the collection requirement; the Rite counts after you confirm your Advanced Spell choice.

The card shows your progress, the remaining requirements, and the avatar reward. A complete card reads 4 / 4 and marks its avatar as unlocked.

The four collections

Collection Spell checklist Rite Avatar reward
Holy Moly Chakra Arrow, Soul Orb, Spirit Aura Rite of the Luminous Mark Luminous Mark
Flame Wrath Spirit Fire, Soul Flame, Curse Of Hell Rite of the Cinder Brand Cinder Brand
Stay, Strong, Soul Death Trail, Lamb Lamp, Witch Shield Rite of the Last Ward Last Ward
Final Judgement Lightning, Sun Strike, Scream Of Pain Rite of the Last Verdict Last Verdict

The collection card is a progress checklist. Seeing a Family record does not make its associated Character selectable; see Characters and Families for access details.

Finding your progress

Open Library → Encyclopedia from Chapter Select. Use the Spell and Rite catalogue pages when you need to check a route, then return to the collection card to see which of the four requirements are complete.
