Limits
An Advanced Spell is not one of the three Family member Spells. It has no ordinary level-up path or Altar form and carries no seal; the active Family can still apply its authored modifier to an eligible Advanced Spell. A build can contain only one Advanced Spell. Route eligibility does not guarantee that an undiscovered reward will be offered.
Standard discovery
| Advanced Spell | Catalogue discovery rule |
|---|---|
| Malethian Sword | Starter candidate when Last Verdict opens |
| Flame Of Rak’esh | Starter candidate when Cinder Brand opens |
| Khuzu’s Thunder | Starter candidate when Last Ward opens |
| Baal Orb | Starter candidate when Luminous Mark opens |
| Ahoo’s Anger | Discovered after the first completed Cinder Brand Rite |
| Kruthu’s Lightning | Discovered after the first completed Last Verdict Rite |
| Demonic Aura | Discovered after the first completed Luminous Mark Rite |
| Wrath Of The Spirit | Discovered after the first completed Last Ward Rite |
Each Family has two candidates in the catalogue. The first completed Rite discovers the second candidate for later eligible runs; it does not grant another Advanced Spell in the current build.
Character selection and discovery are separate. Cinder is available from the start, Moonwake Dancer has a Chapter I Mortal unlock, and Ashbound Warden and Veil Oracle use permanent pair ownership. Eligible test accounts can have temporary access. See Characters and Families for the conditions.
