Movement and menus

Input Use
Keyboard WASD or the arrow keys move your Character. Enter or Space confirms a menu choice; Escape cancels or closes the current menu.
Controller The left stick or directional pad moves your Character; those directional controls also move through menus, and the primary confirm/cancel controls select or close.
Touch Drag the on-screen joystick to move. Menus also accept touch input.
Mouse Menus accept mouse input when a pointer is available.

Casting is automatic during a standard chapter run, so movement and upgrade choices carry the moment-to-moment input.

Joystick modes

Touch players can switch between two modes in the main Settings panel or in Pause → Settings during a run:

  • Following keeps the joystick near its starting position and follows your finger if it travels beyond the follow area.
  • Dynamic places the joystick base where you begin each touch.

Choose the mode that keeps your thumb comfortable. The setting is remembered when you leave and return.

Settings

Setting What it changes
Music Adjusts the music level.
Sound Effects Adjusts the sound-effects level.
Haptics Turns optional tactile feedback on or off. Haptics do not change controls or visual feedback.
Tutorials Shows or hides educational cards and encounter reminders.

Music, Sound Effects, and the saved Following/Dynamic joystick preference are available from the main Settings panel and from Pause Settings. Haptics and Tutorials are in the main Settings panel. Escape or the cancel control closes Pause Settings.

Accessibility and language

Menus are navigable with touch, mouse, keyboard, and controller input. Haptics are optional, so you can play with them disabled.

The Settings menu lists audio, joystick, haptics, and tutorials; it does not show a language selector. The English wiki does not promise an in-game translation; use the language options shown by your game when they are available.
